Then spend 45 minutes with me and receive my undivided attention and let me help you in this 1 on 1 coaching session (in my studio, or online using zoom).

I want to help you feel better about your art, your direction and find the joy in making your art again.
Whatever your challenges, I’m here to help you work through them.

There is no topic that is out of bounds. I am here to help you with whatever art related problems you have.
Whether it be answers to technical problems, inspiration, a critique of your work, or you just need someone to bounce your ideas off, we can cover it.

WHY CHOOSE ME?

Well, besides being a seasoned watercolourist, I also paint in oils, acrylics, and mixed media.
As a qualified teacher, I have honed my skills in assisting individuals like you for over 30 years. My knack for effective teaching sets me apart from many, ensuring a valuable and enriching experience for you.
However, the big thing here is that I really want you to find that spark which makes making art so personal and special.
I don’t want you to give up, because I believe that if you are reading this, you know deep down that you have something to offer through your art.

It’s not about painting like me, it’s about painting like you. I’m here to make suggestions and help in any way I can to help you express yourself through your art.

HOW IT WORKS

You have the option to attend an in person session at my studio (if proximity allows) or connect via Zoom.
The Zoom session will be recorded in HD quality for your review.
Please be aware that studio sessions won't be recorded.

Times, dates and availability are limited but we will work together to find a date and time that work for both of us.

Possible areas WE CAN LOOK AT

  • Critiquing and providing feedback on specific paintings

  • Resolving technical issues or challenges

  • Answering subject-related questions

  • Helping with inspiration and/or ideas

  • Offering guidance, general support and advice

  • Helping you develop your artistic voice and vision

WHERE TO FROM HERE?

  • After I receive your booking and payment, I will contact you via email to find out what areas you would like help with.

  • If your coaching session is to include a critique, you can send me any images that you wish to talk about.
    Note: There must be a lead in time of two weeks if there is to be a critique of your work. This allows me time to prepare notes.

  • I will then send you a link to the ZOOM meeting and then all you need to do is get ready.

  • I suggest you have any questions written down so that you make best use of the time that we have.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You - if you feel that you need some individual, focused and personalised help or advice.

  • The Zoom call is timed for 45 minutes, but if I go longer then there is no extra cost. The same applies to a face to face meeting in my studio.

  • That all depends on the topics you wish to cover. We will have a bit of a chat via email before the meeting so that you can prepare for the meeting. This way you will get the most out of the meeting.

  • Anything you like - the time and topic choice is yours.
    Want answers about painting techniques? Want help overcoming an artistic block? Want to simply bounce some ideas back and forward? Want ideas on where to go with your work? Want suggestions on learning paths?

    The coaching session can be based around anything you like.

  • If the meeting is via ZOOM then yes it will be recorded. You will receive the recording once some basic editing is done.

    If the meeting is live in my studio, then I am afraid the meeting is not recorded as the studio is not set up for recording.

  • I will not post the recording on YouTube with your permission.
    If I request permission to share the recording, it would be to share only a section of the recording for promotional purposes only.

  • While you are free to book multiple coaching sessions (the number of available sessions are limited) and the sessions are not designed for an ongong mentorship on a regular basis.
