The composition reflects Jonathan’s emotional and physical struggles as he flies against the wind, seeking liberation and enlightenment. The figure I’ve painted to represent Jonathan is isolated, yet striving, symbolising his quest for something beyond the ordinary. The turbulent skies I’ve depicted serve as a metaphor for the challenges he faces on his journey toward self-discover.
